SarStart Formulated Liquid Vitamin Supplement

SarStart for Cattle  |   SarStart for Horses   |   SarStart for Dogs

SarStart is a vitamin fortified liquid feed additive that helps cattle get back on feed quickly.

SarStart is formulated to make the beneficial properties of yucca extract available to cattle during receiving and during feeding periods when consumption tends to be less than what is desired. There have been numerous cattle feeding trials (reported in both the technical literature and in the trade press) that have shown beneficial effects of including yucca in a feed ration.

SarTec has conducted product research on the use of SarStart as a liquid feed supplement. An increase in the feed intake of cattle fed yucca extract was demonstrated during the adaptation period (this increase in feed intake was as much as ten percent).  SarStart also supplied cattle with supplemental levels of vitamins A, D3 and E.

Summary: Both feeding trials (AS700 and Yucca Treated) show that cattle fed yucca extract in the daily feed ration experienced higher overall gain over the 28 day adaptation period. A second trial (Yucca Treated) also revealed that cattle orally administered an additional one gram of yucca extract gained an additional 4.4 pounds over the cattle just receiving yucca extract in the feed ration.
